COOKIES Legislation regulating use of cookies becomes law in May. A cookie is information which a website stores on a user’s computer to record their preferences and other pieces of information, for example, previous items you have searched for, your address for Amazon delivery, etc. The College will need to provide information about the cookies we use and needs to obtain consent before a cookie is set on a user’s computer for the first time. Cookies, however, can provide great benefits to users. They can save you time by storing information which you frequently access.
